Text us about this show.

It's rare these days that an artist or band releases a full album that is a great listen all the way through. In 2025 Los Straitjackets did it with Somos Los Straitjackets and now The Tourmaliners are set to drop their new album El Gato and it's one of the best complete surf albums I've ever heard. The entire album takes you back to the golden age of early 1960s surf guitar with all the great subgenres and associated themes that made—and still make—surf music unique and yet accessible to just about everyone. We debut a number of songs from El Gato and we dig into how it was recorded with Deven, Joe, John, and Matt. Enjoy!
